ABOUT ROSALEE

Rosalee Mayeux is a stand-up comedian, actress, former Ford model, and award-winning writer. Mayeux’s over 300 commercials, movies, and TV shows on ABC, NBC, CBS, and Nickelodeon only scratch the surface of her long career. She started her journey as a high-fashion Ford model in New York/Paris, before transitioning into acting and comedy. As an actress, you know her as the love interest in cult classic, The Lawnmower Man, starring Pierce Brosnan, the desk clerk in Blast From The Past, and the wacky mom in Nickelodeon’s They Came From Outer Space. Mayeux won the coveted Columbine Writers Award in ’05 at the Moondance Int’l Film Festival for her short Coyote Nights.

Forced to reconsider her life choices after a treacherous journey with cancer, Rosalee turned her lousy health luck into comedy, where she grabs audiences with her particular views on parenting, fighting cancer, and repeating the same mistakes with every romantic relationship.

Rosalee is performing stand-up weekly around Los Angeles in the major comedy clubs and shows around town, often tours Louisiana, Florida and performs at the North Carolina Comedy Fest. In addition to her TikToks, you can subscribe to her YouTube series, Comedy Girls Road Trip, and her Hometown Stories series about growing up in Louisiana.

Currently, she is putting finishing touches on her debut comedy special: “Gangsta Mom,” about true-life events that led her to raising two boys in LA alone, while chasing away drug dealers and girlfriends. Catch Rosalee’s next role as the funny mom in indie Love At First Spite, starring Tony DeSean, Jamil X Jackson, Beverlee Jean, and Marisa Dzintars.
